Hemm żewġ sinjali għal NEW ZEALAND. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda titwaqqaf bil-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb l-ieħor. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u tiżżerżaq mal-pala tal-ewwel id qisha qed timsaħha. Imbagħad, l-id tersaq lura, tintlewa mill-għekiesi u tagħti daqqa ħafifa fuq il-pala tal-id wieqfa.

There are two signs for NEW ZEALAND. The first sign is made with both hands. One hand is held stationary upright in the shape of closed 5 with palm facing the other side. The other hand takes the shape of closed 5 and slides down along the palm of the stationary hand as though wiping it. Then the hand moves back, bends at the knuckles and hits the palm of the stationary hand lightly.

The second sign consists of two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for NEW, that is, one hand is placed with palm facing inwards at waist level and the other hand, palm facing inwards as well, moves up and touches the side of the other hand and then stops at chin level. At the same time the first hand moves down until it lies horizontally. (ii) Then the first hand is placed at chest level with palm facing sideways. The other hand takes the shape of closed 5 bent at the knuckles and is placed with the fingertips touching the palm of the first hand.
